Remove the old sealant from the bottom flange of the filter by removing the filter with the spatula and making sure to remove all the sealant. Then clean the recessed sink flange holding area.

Places the silicone tube at the dosing caulking gun, short tube nozzle at an angle of 45 degrees with a utility knife and slides the wire in the nozzle to puncture the tube.

Applying a layer of silicone sealant to the bottom of the filter flange and the recessed holding sink area filter.

Threading the nut on the filter and attach it to hold the replacement cap in place. Adjust the nut to secure the filter and back to the stainless steel kitchen sinks with drainboards’ pipe putting on the filter. Clean off excess silicone caulk spilled into the filter flange with a clean cloth.
