  1. Cut a circle in plywood 1 inch (2.5 cm) with the saw. The diameter should be three-quarters the size of the table, and will be the base of the round pedestal kitchen table.
  2. Place metal flanges 3 inches (7.5 cm) in the center of the pedestal base.
  3. Use with drill pilot holes 1/16 in each pencil mark.
  4. Sand the entire surface of the plywood with 120 grit sandpaper to remove any imperfections left by the saw or drill.
  5. Screw the bracket to the round pedestal kitchen table base with screws 1 inch (2.5 cm).
  6. Place a second flange in the center of the table at the bottom and mark the holes for the screws.
  7. Drill pilot holes into the pencil marks, being careful not to cross the table.
  8. Screwing the second flange to the bottom of the table, with screws that go with the thickness of the table.
  9. Screwed pipe 30 inches (75 cm) and 3 inches (7.5 cm) in diameter at the flange which is joined to the pedestal base.
  10. Rub the tube and the flange attached to the pedestal base with steel wool to roughen the surface.
